Can I eat normally with a dental crown?

Yes, once the crown is firmly in place, you can eat normally. However, it’s essential to avoid biting into very hard objects to prevent damage to the crown.

Megan joined the Christchurch team in November 2023. Megan started her career in dentistry in 2017 as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in 2018.

Megan is forward thinking and passionate about her role, her positive and upbeat personality helps our clients to feel relaxed during their visits.

Megan started a new role in April 2024 as a Treatment Co-ordinator for Dr Abdullah Moin and one of our hygienists Kirsty Reynolds. She organises patients treatment plans with Dr Abdullah and Kirsty to ensure our patients receive the best care. She is also the first point of contact for patients to discuss their treatment plans, answer any questions or concerns they may have and talk through finance options.

Megan’s main hobby is keeping fit. She attends the gym most days and enjoys running short and long distances. She also thoroughly enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, walking her dogs and going on sunny holidays.
