I have been with this dental practice for over 20 years. Gosh has it been that long? There is always one or two friendly people to greet you at reception. The hygienists are also friendly and do an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. They give good advice. Derek, the principal dentist has looked after me all these years and I have been more than happy with his help when dealing with a difficult tooth or just doing the normal check-up. During Covid I felt very safe attending for my appointments. The staff made a genuine effort to keep everything clean and sanitised. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a clean, up-to-date practice, and friendly service.

I would like to thank Dr van Staden and his team for the amazing care I have received since attending the practice.The knowledge, expertise and professionalism was far beyond my expectations .All the treatment I have received whilst in the care of Dr van Staden has been absolutely pain free though his skill with anaesthetics and his work on my teeth has been outstanding. How satisfied am I you may ask … 110%!

Following my last review 7 months ago, I have now completed my 12th but not last, appointment at Christchurch. How satisfied am I you may ask … 110%….still taking “baby steps” with the ongoing great emotional support from a brilliant team. I have now an awesome new, almost complete, set of Smileys (dentures). In all honesty, it was not easy at first…”Why do my smileys fall out when I speak? Why am I unable to eat without gagging?” These questions were duly answered by Dr Ash, my Consultant, and now total comfort has set in. Today I can laugh with my heart, my friends and my new smileys! Yes.. I still have to face my fears and anxiety of a dental chair to complete my treatment ……and see a look from Dr Derek making sure I am not facing the entrance door for a quick exit before my treatment. So…if you need a trustworthy professional dental practice, urgent treatment and/or a new set of smileys…urgently cast your fears aside and make the call you may have been putting off until next month or next year…..pick up your mobile and talk to the friendly receptionists Christchurch!

Simply the best Dental Surgery I have ever used

Simply the best Dental Surgery I have ever used. I have recently been on the Invisalign “journey” and my teeth are now aligned and much easier to clean, as well as being much more aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking for a Dental Surgery in Ipswich this is the one. The whole team are brilliant.

The care is exceptional

I have been a patient at the practice for many years and have watched it expand over the years. Derek and his staff are always attentive and take care to fully explain the procedures they propose and give alternatives where there are any. The expansion of the practice has aided getting emergency appointments when necessary and I look forward to completion of the expanded practice rooms.The care is exceptional as once when travelling to SE Asia I developed an issue at Dubai and Derek happily responded to an email with a picture of the issue I had and gave advise as to how to deal with the matter until my return. Three years on and still getting exceptional care from this practice and Ash has been a superb new dentist at the practice.

Whow whow whow, absolutely brilliant and professional and friendly service I received today, with Dr Derek van Staden. The receptionists are so lovely and friendly, and everyone made me feel at ease as I was very nervous. I can honestly say it is the best dental practice I have ever been to. A little pricey, but you definitely get what to pay for…..as the saying goes. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for your care and attention that you gave me today. See you soon.

I attended a hygienist appointment yesterday and it was the best experience I have had! Christchurch Dental usually have very high standards-I’ve been with them for over ten years now-but they even bettered their own quality of service. Professional, caring, attentive. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Christchurch, they were brilliant. The whole process from booking the appointment to the actual treatment was first class. The whole team from the reception, dentist and support team were caring and ensured that I was informed with what was going on at all times. It put me at ease and inspired total confidence in what was happening.

Excellent experience – 10/10. I had wanted to do Invisalign for some time and after a bit of research in the Ipswich area, I decided to go with Christchurch Dental in November 2019. Eighteen months later – I have finished my treatment today and I could not be happier with the results.

Derek and the rest of the staff at the practice were so supportive, flexible and professional throughout my treatment. I moved to London halfway through my Invisalign, which I was anxious about in terms of keeping up with my treatment, but the team at Christchurch could not have been more supportive, and advised me that they would always work around you, which I was so grateful for.

If you are even debating whether to get Invisalign, just go for it – you won’t regret it. I would thoroughly recommend going with Christchurch Dental.

Allow me to highly recommend

10 years ago I visited the Christchurch Dental Practice due to emergency treatment required but never returned only due to my high anxiety of visiting the dentist.

Following pressure from family and friends who want to hear me laugh and see me smile again, I am now attending this lovely practice for much needed dental treatment. I wish I had gone back 10 years ago. I had a welcoming and reassuring call from Gabi (apologies for the tears, Gabi) with a plan of action agreed from the start.

I shall soon be attending my 6th treatment. My dental anxiety is now at level 3 out of 10 due to “baby steps” taken, by Dr. Ash, my reassuring Practitioner.

It is the welcoming smiles from the lovely team and a “hello” from Dr Derek …whilst I sit in the waiting room that I return for my treatment.

No matter how complicated your treatment will be, allow me to highly recommend a call, please don’t wait for pain to occur. You will treated as a person whilst you are under their care, not just a patient. Thank you to all the Team at the Christchurch Dental Practice.

I get many compliments on my teeth now

Derek and his staff always give a personal service, which leaves me at ease when in the chair, something I always used to get anxious about! The difference they made to my smile and confidence, after a sports injury to my teeth, was amazing. I get many compliments on my teeth now which makes me smile even bigger. I was not disappointed

I joined Christchurch Dental Practice last year after researching the local area for a good dentist. I chose Christchurch because of the brilliant reviews about customer service and the professionalism of all the staff ! I was not disappointed ! It is a lovely warm friendly personable practice. Kind, reassuring staff. Prompt and thorough care with great treatment plans given. Derek is the most caring, highly skilled dentist I have ever come across who goes above and beyond to take care of his patients. Personally looking after me with my wisdom teeth issues and worries which I very much appreciate.
I am a very nervous patient and I have plans made to restore my smile with Derek with implants and veneers which I very much look forward to as I know I am in great hands.

This was my wife’s and my first visit since moving to the UK and what a pleasant experience it has been. Your staff and facilities were exceptional an so was the actual initial inspection and personal attention to detail. Before I visited this Dentist I was really nervous about going but the Dentist was kind and understanding and helped me slowly. He made me feel confident in going and at the end of my treatment they brought me a brunch of flowers to say thank you for being a great patient.
