Our client of the month for September is Sallie. Sallie has been coming to the practice for quite a few years now and she always brightens the day for the Christchurch team.
Several years ago, I started my Christchurch Dental journey out of necessity. I readily admit to having badly neglected my teeth for many years through fear of seeing a dentist. I historically experienced negative attitudes from staff at former practices plus pain and discomfort, which all became a huge barrier to going. But when I lost a front tooth due to gum disease, something had to be done. I was a nervous wreck walking up those quirky stone steps for the first time. However, the team could not have made me feel more welcome and the process of trust, reassurance and healing had commenced.
Derek began my long journey back to healthy teeth and gums, and I was soon introduced to Jess who keeps me on the dental hygiene straight and narrow. Composite fillings, Maryland bridges, pockets, plaque scores and Tepe brushes are now a part of my life. But it is only through the patient centred approach exhibited by all staff at Christchurch, that creates an environment that allows this once very nervous patient to walk down those quirky steps with a smile on her face.
Thank you very much Sallie for allowing us to share your story.
